The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
